The original glass! Lanthorne leaf is created by soaking and pressing a horn plate several times over a period of months. This process removes the colour from the horn leaving a beautiful translucent amber coloured pane - ideal for lantern repair.

The leaf was traditionally sold by the square inch, which now equates to 25 square mm.

To calculate the quantity you require - multiply the length of the piece (in mm) by its width and divide by 625.

Sizes can usually be no larger than 120 mm by 90 mm, however please contact us to discuss alternative options.
